Without a doubt, the Puma Suede is one of the most iconic silhouettes in history. First unveiled at the 1968 Summer Olympic Games in Mexico City, the model has gone through multiple name changes since, but its overall design and aesthetic has remained pretty much exactly the same. Over the last five decades we've seen some pretty amazing colorways and collaborations hit the lifestyle shoe, including the AMI x Puma Suede Crepe "Pristine."
Marking the first time that the German sportswear giant has teamed up with the French luxury brand, Alexandre Mattiussi has applied his minimalist sensibilities to the classic runner. Crafted from a clean pristine beige suede throughout, a bold green Formstripe decorates the lateral and medial side panels complete with contrast white stitching. Co-branded detailing adorns the tongue tag with Puma's big cat placed neatly inside AMI's heart symbol, and down below, you'll find a crepe midsole that's coated in gum rubber for added durability and traction with every step.
The AMI x Puma Suede Crepe Pristine proves that together, we can achieve me. Releasing in 2022 in men's sizes, it'll be available at AMI, Puma, and a select few stockists with a retail price of $120.
