Collaborative efforts in the sneaker world have become so commonplace that it's almost a weekly occurrence that a new co-branded project pops up online. One brand that is often spotted working with The Swoosh, Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH, recently teased a slew of AF1 Low colorways that take on similar design elements to its previously released AF1 High. Now, it seems there are even more colorways for the low-top model as images of a “Green” colorway on the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low have appeared.
Premium tumbled leather takes over the sneaker's overlays and underlays, coming covered almost entirely in green. This shade lands on the mudguard, eyestays, quarter panel, and heel while lemon shades make their mark on the custom co-branded lace dubrae, heel tab, on the Swoosh along the midfoot that jets out past the heel. Tonal green laces run up a similarly shaded tongue, stopping just below the co-branded tongue tag and exposed foam. The sockliner and insole add more lux vibes to the sneaker as they come in green leather while the latter of the two features yet another co-branded hit of AMBUSH and Nike branding in the contrasting lemon shade. One addition Yoon has brought to the model is the TPU overlay on the heel, jetting out and featuring a 3D “AMBUSH” logo. Completing the design is the green-on-green rubber midsole and outsole.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low Pine Green is set to release on December 16th. 2022 through Nike SNKRS while AMBUSH and select retailers will release later in December.
