Reebok Alien Stomper Hi 30th Anniversary
Reebok finally released the Alien Stomper Hi to the public for the first time in 2016. Made in collaboration with Fox Consumer Products to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the film Aliens, they also released on Alien Day, April 26. The second in the franchise, Sigourney Weaver's character, Ellen Ripley, wears the sneakers throughout. The super high-top is identical to the one seen in the 1986 film, from the white, red, and grey color scheme to the midfoot and velcro straps. Only 426 pairs were released, tying back to the release date, April 26, 2016.
Reebok Alien Stomper Mid 30th Anniversary
Alongside the uber-limited high-top version, Reebok also dropped the Alien Stomper Mid to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Aliens. Releasing on Alien Day, April 26, 2016, this pair features everything you love about the pair worn by Ellen Ripley but toned down for a more modern look and is easier to wear. Limited to 1,986 pairs, a nod to the year the second film in the Alien franchise was released, each pair came in special packaging, adding more premium vibes to this pair.
Reebok Alien Stomper Mid Power Loader
Released 31 years to the date of the theatrical debut of the 1986 film Aliens, the Power Loader colorway in the Alien Stomper Final Battle Pack is a direct homage to one of the franchise’s most iconic scenes. Modeled after the industrial exoskeleton used by Ripley in her fight against the Queen Alien, these sneakers feature a striking bright yellow colorway that mirrors the Power Loader itself. The black and yellow detailing on the tongue straps recalls the hazard stripes on the machinery, while additional touches like the "N-1725" on the collar and "PWL" branding on the heel are subtle nods for die-hard fans. This release captures the intensity and grit of the scene, offering a wearable piece of cinematic history.
Reebok Alien Stomper Mid Alien Queen
The Queen Alien colorway, the dark counterpart to the Power Loader in the Final Battle Pack, channels the fearsome presence of the Xenomorph queen. The shoe’s design mirrors the menacing, biomechanical aesthetic of the Queen, featuring black patent leather and glossy overlays. The XX121 code on the lockdown strap is a clever reference to the Xenomorph classification, while glow-in-the-dark elements on the translucent midsole add an extra sci-fi intrigue. This edition perfectly balances homage and wearability, making it a standout release for Alien enthusiasts and sneakerheads.
Reebok Alien Stomper Mid Bishop
To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Alien franchise, Reebok re-released the Alien Stomper Mid on Alien Day (April 26). This 2019 release is known as the Bishop edition, a nod to the film's protagonist, Lance Bishop, from the 1986 sequel, Aliens. While this pair resembles the 2016 release, there are differences between the two. These changes include removing the 3M stripes on the midfoot strap and making the Reebok branding black instead of red. In addition, this pair comes packaged in a special box with many accessories such as a dust bag, keychain with three different hang tags (Official Issue, Weylan-Yutani, and 40th Anniversary), Nostromo documentation, a Stomping Guide, and more.
Reebok Alien Stomper Mid U.S.C.M.
For Alien Day 2020, Reebok unleashed the Alien Stomper Mid U.S.C.M. Also known as the Bug Stomper, this pair draws inspiration from the uniform worn by the United States Colonial Marine Corps in the Aliens film. The light sand-based upper is covered in ballistic nylon, highlighted by camouflage accents. An inner bootie was also added to this pair, something not seen on other Alien Stomper releases. Custom branding is found throughout, including military-style patches, custom stripes on the back heel pulls, logos on the back heel of the right shoe, midfoot strap, and inside of the ankle strap. Custom packaging ties everything together.
Alien Romulus x Reebok BB 4000 II Mid
Alien: Romulus is the latest entry in the Alien franchise. Releasing in theatres in August 2024, Reebok designed an all-new sneaker that is seen in the film, a modified version of the classic BB 4000 II Mid. Inspired by the classic Alien Stomper, the Alien Romulus x Reebok BB 4000 II Mid comes in the same white, red, and grey color scheme fans have come to know and love over 45 years. The sneaker features a worn-in look with the Weyland-Yutani logo on the tongue and heel. Each pair comes in special packaging, furthering the unique details Reebok brings to their Alien collaborations.
With an 82% Rotten Tomatoes score, Alien: Romulus is set to be one of the best films in the franchise. Going back 45 years, Reebok's partnership with Alien has been one of the most successful. Thanks to its unique designs and special edition colorways, the Alien x Reebok line will forever be touted as one of the best sneaker/movie mash-ups. With the positive response to this new entry, we expect to see more from these two brands.
