The Debut Colorway of A’ja Wilson’s Nike A’One Signature Shoe Sold Out in Minutes
Published
If anyone had doubts about the popularity of A’ja Wilson’s first signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike A’One, today’s release on Nike proved otherwise. All Nike A’One Pink A’ura pairs sold out on Nike’s website in mere minutes. The pair dropped at 10:00 AM on Nike SNKRS and nike.com, and a sold-out banner appeared before 10:05 AM.
Women’s basketball has seen a significant uptick in viewership and interest online, coinciding with an array of new WNBA athletes receiving signature sneakers. A'ja is the latest example, proving strong demand for sneakers from female athletes, even among male consumers. Sabrina Ionescu’s signature models have crossed boundaries and have become staples in the NBA and other male leagues, and A’ja’s will likely do the same.

Although the Nike A’One Pink A’ura sold out quickly and was limited to only a few thousand pairs on Nike, there is another opportunity to cop the sneaker. Retailers like Foot Locker and Dick’s Sporting Goods will release the pair on May 8, but again demand is high, so expect a quick sell out once again. If the pink-based colorway isn’t your style, A’ja and Nike plan for two more colorways next week: the blue Indigo Girl rendition and the clean white-based OG Pearl.
