First Look at the Nike A’One EYBL PE
Published
A’ja Wilson’s signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike A’One, has taken the basketball world by storm since its debut in May. Not only has it been a staple in the WNBA since then, but it’s also appeared on the feet of NBA athletes during the Summer League and on the youth at Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL). A lucky few connected to Nike EYBL have access to a special player-exclusive colorway of A’ja’s Nike A’One.
The pair is primarily inspired by the Peach Jam, the annual circuit final for Nike EYBL, which takes place in North Augusta, South Carolina, every July. Peachy hues dominate the midfoot Swoosh, lace set, tongue, and eyelet overlays, while the layered pearl-inspired base comes in royal blue that turns into a lighter blue hue as you move out toward the rest of the sneaker.
Solid black hits contrast these colorful shades on the sockliner and heel tab, the latter hosting an EYBL logo in a peach hue. In this early in-hand video, it appears the logo for A’ja is removed from the tongue, though we do only get a look at the left pair, so we can’t be 100% certain of this change. Down below sits a black midsole with Cushlon foam supported by an injected Phylon midsole carrier, TPU frame bezel for support, and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike A’One EYBL PE will not be released to the public. Instead, the pair will be exclusively available to select athletes, staff, and friends-and-family of Nike EYBL. If you’re interested in copping a pair of the Nike A’One, the WNBA All-Star-themed colorway is set to launch on July 18, 2025.
