A’ja Wilson Debuts a Nike A’One Inspired by Susie from Rugrats

In last night’s game against the New York Liberty, A’ja Wilson took a nasty fall on her wrist, forcing her to exit the game early. Hopefully, she can recover quickly from this injury as she’s been putting on a clinic all season for the Las Vegas Aces, once again making the All-Star team. Before the start of the game, Sole Retriever was in attendance during shoot-arounds, and we caught a glimpse at a new player exclusive colorway of her Nike A’One sneaker inspired by Rugrats character Susie.
Susie’s yellow dress with purple floral print, her red shoes, red hair ties, and green bracelet are all represented on the silhouette via the color palette and graphic print. Most of the pearl-inspired silhouette is coated in a monochromatic yellow hue, with purple floral patterns plastered throughout the upper.

Red portions on the Swoosh and A’ja logos on the tongue and heel contrast with the purple and yellow hits, while the tongue tag is also done in a green shade to resemble her bracelet. Final details include the yellow and green foam midsole with more purple floral print and a tonal yellow outsole.
Unfortunately for fans of Rugrats and A’ja Wilson, the Nike A’One Rugrats PE will remain exclusive to A’ja Wilson.
