This Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Is Panda Adjacent
PublishedIntroduced in the early 2000s, the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low began its comeback in 2022 after years in the vault. Seen in renditions paying homage to “Dongdan” and even getting a Jayson Tatum-led makeover, its latest arrangement brings “Panda” vibes.
This iteration of the Nu Retro 1 Low features black leather panels on its base layer neatly covering the mudguard, heel, and base of the midfoot. In contrast, the midfoot houses two large white leather overlays. The lateral side proudly hosts a debossed Jordan Wings logo on these two panels, while the medial side is untouched. Black laces seamlessly blend with the matching tongue and sockliner. Underneath, a white midsole punctuated with a black Jumpman symbol near the heel elevates the look, pairing perfectly with a black outsole carrying a slight, semi-translucent icy blue accent.
The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Panda will release in November through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105 for men's and $90 for GS sizes.
