In a sea of classic single-digit Air Jordan colorways, the Air Jordan 9 Space Jam holds a special place in the hearts of ‘90s kids who dreamed of someday shooting a jumper with perfect, slo-mo-worthy form. It may not be the most famous shoe from Jordan’s seminal film performance, but when the doors open on the Looney Tunes gym and Mike starts warming up with the squad, that song, starting with a long shot of this pair, is cemented in the minds of 30-something Jordan heads everywhere.

The Air Jordan 9 Space Jam never actually made its way to an NBA court, debuting during Jordan’s hiatus from professional hoops, but its role in Space Jam serves the same nostalgic purpose. After getting word that the colorway would be returning for a retro run last Fall, we now have a first look at the 2026 pair made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film.
