Michael Jordan’s NASCAR Team Debuted a Pit Crew Air Jordan 9 PE at Daytona

Jordan Brand has made all sorts of exclusive PEs for athletes and entertainers across the cultural landscape, from the basketball court and the baseball diamond to the tee box and the gridiron. As Michael Jordan continues to dive deeper into his love for fast cars with his 23XI Racing Team, this might be the most niche PE we’ve seen yet.

The Air Jordan 9 Pit Shoe PE debuted at the Duel at Daytona at the famed Daytona Motor Speedway in Florida yesterday, with every member of the Team 23XI pit crew rocking the exclusive Air Jordan 9 colorway.

The PE colorway features a triple-black upper with red accents to match the 23XI Racing team colors, starting with thick premium leather on the toe and bottom half of the side panels and soft black suede covering the rest of the shoe. The Jordan branding on the tongue and Jumpman on the heel of the midsole are both done in red, with a red Jumpman globe logo on the heel to round it out.
