Some sneakers are fortunate enough to get the retro treatment on a regular basis, with some pairs coming back every five to seven years, while others are relegated to a decade-plus gap between releases. This often leaves an empty space in the closets of collectors who try to secure OG iterations of silhouettes, especially in the Air Jordan line. For the Air Jordan 6, the Black Infrared, White Infrared, and Carmine have enjoyed multiple retro releases, leaving the Sport Blue and Maroon pairs in the dust with only one retro release in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Luckily, if you can wait, you’ll have a chance at grabbing the Sport Blue pair once more next year.
Air Jordan 6 Retro Sport Blue 2027 Details
According to zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Sport Blue is coming back. The colorway’s 2027 retro release is expected to feature Nike Air branding, a detail missing on the first and only retro release in 2014, and it’s also expected to have an updated shape closer to the OG from 1991.
The pair features a predominantly white makeup on its leather panels, with pops of sport blue reserved for the Jumpman logo on the lace shroud, the lace lock, and parts of the black heel spoiler. More black is found on the tongue and the sockliner. Down below sits a white and sport blue midsole featuring a visible Air unit in the heel and a black and icy blue translucent outsole.

The Air Jordan 6 Retro Sport Blue will be released Fall 2027 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. As of this writing, there’s no confirmation on a retail price for the pair.
