Introduced in 1991 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 6 is significant in the Jordan lineage. This silhouette was on Michael Jordan's feet when he claimed his first NBA championship and has become a fan favorite for sneakerheads. As a nod to the classic "Oreo" colorway of the AJ 6, Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 6 Retro "Reverse Oreo" in Summer 2024, two years after the successful launch of the AJ 6 "Red Oreo."
While no images have been released for this Jordan 6, our speculative mockup anticipates standard construction for the model featuring an all-leather upper and perforated details near the midfoot and collar. The colorway is predominantly bright white, with black elements sprinkled throughout. The Jumpman logo on the lace cover, lace lock, heel spoiler, and sole unit are expected to carry these dark accents. These black elements on the sole unit and the lace lock will likely be elevated with a white speckle print. Lastly, the design is expected to be completed with a tri-color outsole consisting of black, white, and semi-translucent icy blue. While exact color placement and materials are unknown, this new AJ 6's arrangement should align with the classics based on its colorway description and the information we have obtained.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Reverse Oreo will release on June 8, 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $200 for men, $160 for grade school, $100 for preschool, and $85 for toddler sizes.
