Jordan Brand is no stranger to celebrating those big moments of crossing the threshold into the next phase of life, just look at the Air Jordan 11. The model features a large patent leather overlay, a material usually reserved for more formal footwear, but its iconic Cap and Gown colorway cemented its two-way status as a formal and casual silhouette. Cue Pomp and Circumstance, the Air Jordan 6 is crossing the stage to join the Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 13 with an upcoming Cap and Gown colorway of its own.
At the base, the Air Jordan 6 Cap and Gown begins with a smooth nubuck upper. Unlike the Jordan 11 and Jordan 13, the Air Jordan 6 doesn’t go for the shiny loafer inspiration with patent leather, instead opting for a softer sheen with satin hints on the side panel cutouts and tongue stabilizer. Those satin panels all come trimmed with reflective piping that will add an extra pop to those stage crossing photos.

Matching that reflective trim are additional hits of silver throughout the silhouette, including on the silhouette’s midsole, the heel tab, and Jumpman branding on the tongue stabilizer. Adding to the celebratory sneaker is the Nike logo on the heel, an honor usually saved for true retro colorways.
The Air Jordan 6 Cap and Gown is set to cross the stage in Summer 2026 via Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in a full-family size run, the retail prices are set at $215 (men), $155 (GS), $95 (PS), and $85 (TD).
