It doesn't get anymore reflective than this.
One of the most iconic and notable parts of the Air Jordan 5 is its 3M reflective detailing on the tongue. In 2006, Jordan Brand toyed with the idea of releasing an Air Jordan 5 Retro with a full 3M upper. This, of course became the AJ 5 "Green Bean," which re-released earlier this year. It almost didn't happen, however, as the material didn't meet JB's quality standards at the time and therefore only men's pairs featured this upper, all the kids pairs came in nubuck. Fun fact, the men's 3M version almost got scrapped for this reason and replaced with nubuck as well, are you glad they didn't?
Fast forward to 2009. Jordan Brand would drop their second AJ 5 Retro with a full 3M upper, the black-based pair in the iconic "Raging Bulls" Pack. Next up, a women's exclusive Air Jordan 5 Retro Low for Summer 2023 entitled, "Festival Lights." The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low "Festival Lights" edition comes in an indigo haze, fire red, metallic silver, alabaster, and flint grey colorway. The sneaker will feature a full 3M iridescent reflective upper, like the one seen on the AJ 1 High Zoom "Fearless" that was released in 2019.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low Festival Lights W is set to release in Summer 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $180. Check out our Jordan release calendar, and keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
