Jordan Brand flips a classic Air Jordan 3 Retro colorway.
With natural tones all the rage these days it's no surprise to see Jordan Brand take full advantage of the trend. Ever since Travis Scott applied Escape-like vibes on his first Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, browns, tans and more have been front and center in the streetwear scene. For 2022, the Air Jordan 3 Retro is following suit with a “Desert Elephant” makeover.
Coming in black, rush orange, fossil stone and sail, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Desert Elephant” features a classic black-based leather upper. Desert Orange replaces the traditional grey elephant print with fossil stone accenting the suede tongue, eyelets, collar and liner. An aged, sail-colored midsole, stone grey outsole and custom printed insoles tying back to the theme finish things off for this pair.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Desert Elephant was originally set to release on April 30th, 2022. Pushed back to June and then July, they will now release on August 30th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in men’s and gradeschool sizes. Retail is set at $200 for men and $150 for GS.
