The last signature shoe worn on Michael Jordan's feet during his time with the Chicago Bulls was the Air Jordan 14. Many consider his fourteenth signature sneaker, designed by Tinker Hatfield, the last great Air Jordan silhouette (although a handful of later models have received some praise). With random drops yearly, the AJ 14 has stayed prominent 26 years after its debut. For Holiday 2024, the Air Jordan 14 Retro is set for a comeback, bringing back a fan-favorite original colorway.
Last seen in 2014, the Air Jordan 14 Retro Black Toe is returning in its original form. When the pair was first retroed in 2006, perforations were added to the design of the upper, something that was not featured on the OG release from 1998. While that pair received a love/hate consensus from fans, the 2014 iteration was well-received. We expect the same for this upcoming drop. A white-based leather upper is highlighted by a black toe in nubuck, finished off by red branding and silver hits.
The Air Jordan 14 Retro Black Toe is set to release on November 2, 2024. They will be available via Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $200 and $150, respectively. For the latest information on this and other Air Jordan releases, download the Sole Retriever Mobile app.
