Last year’s annual Air Jordan 11 Retro holiday drop brought back some of the golden-era Jumpman hype, with pairs of the Gamma colorway flying off retail shelves and ballooning in resale before the ball dropped. Now, as we get ready for a Space Jam-themed return to the Holiday cycle, Jordan Brand is reviving the Gamma colorway in a standard high-top and a low-top, but only for a select handful of college ballers.
Black and Bruin Blue
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Gamma UCLA PEs are the latest exclusive colorways to arrive on campus for the Bruins football team this season. Staying on theme with last year’s high-top retro drop, the PE version keeps the same shiny black patent upper and electric blue accents, this time in service of a perfect jersey match.

Starting with a coat of black patent leather that covers every inch of the upper paneling, like it fell into the La Brea Tar Pits, the spikes underfoot keep the theme consistent with even more black shine. The low-top adds a blue Jumpman to the heel below a blue 23, with the high-top moving the Jumpman to the ankle. On both pairs, UCLA branding is added to the mid-tongue logo for some exclusive PE energy.
