Taking on the shades of the cult-favorite ice cream flavor, the Air Jordan 11 “Neapolitan” (W) may hit shelves in 2023.
Aside from crafting colorways directly related to Michael Jordan, whether that be based on moments in his career or some of his favorite hobbies, Jordan Brand will take inspiration from just about anything to add some flavor to the Air Jordan lineup. For the upcoming Holiday 2023 season, we've already got confirmation that the iconic Air Jordan 11 "DMP" is making a return, however, as initially reported by zSneakerHeadz, expect to see a women's exclusive "Neapolitan" inspired colorway launch in November.
With only mock-ups of the colorway available, the sneaker is supposedly featuring shades of sail, velvet brown, and atmosphere which falls in line with the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry concoction of Neapolitan, though its exact color placement is unknown at this time. What we can expect is the higher cut of patent leather Jordan Brand has switched over to after the release of the AJ 11 “Space Jam” in 2016 and typical AJ 11 branding details like the Jumpman along the collar, “23” on the heel, and “Jumpman Jordan” spelled horizontally along the center of the tongue. Rounding out the look is the Phylon-cushioned midsole paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 Neapolitan (W) is set to release November 2023 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming women’s, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail price is set at $225, $100, and $80 respectively.
