Crowning Achievement: The Purple and Black Air Jordan 10 Retro Sacramento Drops in December

The Sacramento Kings don’t have the best track record on the court, but when it comes to sneakers and jerseys, California’s capital city is one of the league’s best, mixing purple and black on PE pairs from Jason Williams and Nike, Jordan Brand, and soon, the city’s new young star, Darius Acuff Jr., and his shoe sponsor, Reebok.

Sacto’s Finest

This season, Jordan Brand is going back in time to revive the 1995 Air Jordan 10 Sacramento, from the Jumpman’s mid ‘90s City Pack. Featuring an upper covered in premium black leather, the sockliner and outsole add subtle pops of purple for an undercover royal look. This is the pair’s first retro after 31 years, giving Sacramento fans access to a previously unobtainable grail.

Starting with pebbled black leather on the entire upper, the wavy, rippling sides fade into the panels above, with more black leather on the tongue and a touch of canvas on the lace loops. The sockliner switches to purple for a Sacramento blend, with a few matching panels striking across the outsole.
