The streets of New York were filled with orange and blue throughout the summer thanks to the Knicks securing the Larry O’Brien trophy. The surge in Knicks-fever caused every footwear brand on the planet to pump out shoes featuring the Knicks' color palette, including Jordan Brand. Michael Jordan’s label honored the team with a shock-drop pre-order of the Air Jordan 3 Retro Knicks, a pair that was released back in 2018, and coincidentally made plans months before the championship to drop an Air Jordan 8 Knicks. But next year, Jordan Brand is going back to one of the OG Knicks Air Jordan sneakers with the first-ever retro release of the Air Jordan 10 New York Knicks.

Back when the Air Jordan 10 first hit shelves in 1994, Michael Jordan was technically retired and playing minor league baseball. To help market the shoe without MJ actually lacing it up, Nike tapped multiple players across the league to rock the sneaker, creating player-exclusive colorways to match their respective team’s colors. These colors would hit retail in the summer of 1995, albeit without the PE branding details, which is why we have the Air Jordan 10 City Pack covering locations like Sacramento, Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, and New York.
The Knicks-themed colorway has not returned since its original release in 1995, but according to zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the pair will come back in 1:1 fashion in 2027. The sneaker itself was in line with most of the colorways in the City Pack, featuring a white and black leather upper accented by the team's colors on the sockliner and the stripes on the outsole. It may look a bit like the Orlando colorway, but when looking at the sole unit, you’ll see the Jumpman features the Knicks' unmistakable orange shade.
Air Jordan 10 Retro New York Knicks Release Details
The Air Jordan 10 Retro New York Knicks will be released Fall 2027 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Retail pricing has not been announced just yet, but considering the 2026 AJ 10 price, expect it to hover around $215.
