Outside of the Chicago Bulls, UNC Tar Heels-themed Air Jordan's are some of the most popular of all-time. There’s just something about that light shade of blue that really attracts people’s attention. Its latest appearance will happen later this year on the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “UNC.”

Coming in white, dark powder blue, and black, this AJ 1 Low mirrors classic color combos seen on the OG Air Jordan 9 and 10, rather than the recent models. While Dark Powder Blue is only a slightly darker shade of blue from University Blue, it’s enough to separate this UNC-themed AJ 1 Low OG from the AJ 1 High OG released in 2021. Coming in original Air Jordan 1 construction, this pair features an all-leather upper, with “Black Toe” color blocking. Black and blue overlays are paired with white underlays for a clean look. More black hits are found via laces, tongue, and lining. Finishing this pair off is a white midsole and dark powder blue colored solid rubber outsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG UNC was originally set to release on July 29th, 2022. After a small delay, it will now release on September 28th. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in men’s and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $130 for men.
