As we say goodbye to another year in the pandemic, we look at brighter skies ahead for the world. In the footwear game, brands are starting to look past the holidays and ring in the new year and everything that comes with it. Kicking things off is the “Year of the Tiger” Collection from Jordan Brand. Included in this CNY-inspired pack is the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG, Air Jordan 6 Retro Low and the Jordan Legacy 312.

While we got a first taste of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low “CNY” recently, now we have an official look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG. It comes in a Shattered Backboard-like sail, black and starfish colorway. Featuring leather overlays with a tiger striped graphic on the toe and side panels. Black and orange accents, a custom printed liner and insoles and a full translucent orange outsole with a Wings logo underneath finish these off. Limited to 5,000 pairs individually numbered, they come with extra sets of laces, housed in special packaging.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG CNY is set to release on December 30th, 2021, exclusively in the Asia Pacific region. A worldwide drop is expected to follow in February 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price to be announced.
