If you own a pair of "Rookie of the Year" Air Jordan 1 Retro Highs, chances are you either tried the red lace swap or saw photos of people who did so. The Air Jordan 1 Mid "White Onyx Cardinal Red" gives vibes of the aforementioned AJ 1 High, but with a few more red accents.
Light Tan and cardinal red leather overlays cover most of the shoe against the white smooth leather underlays. The red around the ankle collar pairs with the Swoosh on the sides, inner lining, tongue tag, and laces, against the white nylon tongue. The white midsole and black outsole almost seemed borrowed compared to the rest of the shoe, as they starkly contrast the colors of the upper.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid White Onyx Cardinal Red is set to release on June 24th, 2022. It will drop on Nike and at select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Men’s sizes will retail for $120, gradeschool sizes for $100, preschool sizes for $70, and toddler sizes for $55.
