Jordan Brand has been offering the Air Jordan 1 in its love-it-or-hate-it mid-top construction for decades now, however, sneakerheads are still split on whether the model is “acceptable” to wear. Even with this debate raging online and in the community, we continue to see new renditions of the silhouette with its latest coming in a vibrant mix of “Glacier Ice Citron Pulse Action Green.”
Seen here in this multi-color design, the silhouette keeps its usual leather and nylon construction across the upper with shades of glacier ice landing on the toebox, quarter panel, and collar. Along the mudguard and heel overlays sit citron pulse-shaded panels while the eyestays and collar overlay contain hits of action green. Stark white laces contrast the yellow tongue while branding up top comes in a white/glacier ice combo. Arguably the most eyecatching detail is the recycled Swoosh that appears in a clear, splatter paint-covered finish. Underfoot sits a white AJ 1 midsole with the rubber outsole below continuing the theme of the Swoosh logo with its semi-translucent icy blue recycled construction.
