We’re getting strong “Shattered Backboard” vibes here.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: "Every sneakerhead should have at least one pair of AJ 1 Low in their collection." If you love the classic Jordan 1 aesthetic but need something a little more versatile, this low-top silhouette is definitely your best bet, and releases like the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low "Sport Spice Black" prove this.
From the get-go, the “Sport Spice” is giving us some serious Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard 3.0” vibes. With its all-leather construction, the base is painted in a stark black hue and this is quickly offset by bold orange panels throughout. A Nike Swoosh shoots across the sides, and just like the aforementioned “SB 3.0,” the Air midsole underfoot has been dipped in a creamy coconut milk, giving the sneaker an extremely retro look and feel. To round it all off, the iconic winged basketball emblem is finely stitched around the back, finalizing the design.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Sport Spice Black W is set to release in Spring 2023. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $120.
