This Air Jordan 1 Low Split Will Have You Doing A Double Take

Back in 2018, Jordan Brand left the sneaker world in utter shock when they launched the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage To Home.” At this point in time, Jumpman fans were only used to simple colorblocking styles that utilized nothing but two tones. With that said, the Michael Jordan-helmed label decided to rewrite the rulebook and create a sneaker that’s influenced by both the “Chicago” and “Bred” colorways. Four years later, and it looks like this very concept is set to return, this time on the Air Jordan 1 Low Split "Gym Red Cement Grey Black."

Crafted from an all-leather construction, this Air Jordan 1 Low is literally what it says on the tin. The lateral side features a gym red base with cement grey paneling, but the medial side works on top of black with gym red surrounding that portion of the upper. This results in a very sudden split down the center of the shoe, showcasing a dramatic juxtaposition of palettes. Back in April, we got our first glimpse of the Air Jordan 1 Low Split "Black White." While it features more-or-less the same design, this variant is definitely the more eye-catching of the two.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Split Gym Red Cement Grey Black W is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online.
