Air Jordan 1s may be most known for their high-top releases, however, the popularity of the AJ 1 Low has increased in recent years. In part due to their lower price point and clean aesthetic, Jordan Brand is continuing to feed into the demand for the Air Jordan 1 Low in 2023 as another canvas-covered SE iteration has appeared - this time in “Celestial Gold.”
Dressed in leather on its base and canvas on the overlays, the sneaker partakes in tonal gold shades throughout the entire upper. On the perforated toebox and smooth leather quarter panel sits muslin shades while celestial gold takes over the canvas mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel. This same hue continues onto the laces while the tongue goes back to the muslin shade, though the tag above utilizes more muslin on its Jumpman logo. Along the midfoot, the usual leather or suede Swoosh comes embroidered and works back towards the Wings logo placed on the heel. Underfoot, the AJ 1 midsole comes in sail as does the rubber outsole placed below this.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Canvas Celestial Gold W is set to release in May 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
