On top of having a slew of retro releases slated for this upcoming Fall and Holiday season, Jordan Brand has crafted a handful of GS-exclusive pairs. Recently seen with pairs like the “Just Skate” and “Born To Fly” Air Jordan 1 Low, fiery Swoosh branding appears to be a theme JB favors. Adding to this, a “Black” iteration of the AJ 1 Low Just Skate has appeared.
Doused in a deep black hue across its leather upper, we see accenting hits of grey, white, red, and orange throughout the design. Monochromatic shades are seen on the toe portion, eyestays, midfoot, heel, and collar, while our first deviation from this hue is found on the white lace set. Red accents grace the grey tongue on the lace loop and Jumpman branding, with the shade continuing onto the sockliner. Once you reach the mid-foot’s Swoosh, you’ll notice a white leather finish applied that gets covered in a red/orange flame graphic on the lateral side. Flipping over to the medial midfoot, playful illustrations nodding to skateboarding is present and can also be found on the tongue lining and mudguard. Finishing the upper is the hand-drawn-like Wings logo on the heel, while the black midsole paired with a white rubber outsole completes the entire design.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Just Skate Black GS will be released in 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
