Nike and Jordan Brand have released golf-ready redesigns in the past, though 2022 is proving to be a major year for both the sport and golf shoe variants of their most popular models. With classic colorways such as the "Chicago" or "Shadow" already seeing a release, Jordan Brand is looking to add a splash of aqua blue on the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low Golf "Copa."
Utilizing the same color blocking as the AJ 1 Black Toe, the sneaker gets a majority of white and black leather across its upper with hits of copa coming towards the rear. For the toebox, tongue, and midfoot, white leather contrasts with black leather overlays located on the mudguard, eyestays, and the sockliner. Atop the tongue sits a Jumpman Golf logo, coming in the aqua shade of copa. Back on the leather heel tab is another hit of copa, contrasted by the Air Jordan Wings logo embossed in black. Underfoot, a white AJ 1 midsole gets paired with a reworked copa-colored rubber outsole that adds grip for the course while staying spike-less.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Copa is slated to release on July 29th, 2022 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
