Aside from Nike's investment in the WNBA and women in the workplace, the Swoosh has been blessing the ladies with plenty of releases that come exclusively in women's sizing. This trend continues on the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Dark Marina Blue” (W).
Borrowing from the recently released Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dark Marina Blue,” this low top take on the AJ1 comes in a two-tone white and blue. Wrapping around the white perforated leather toe box is a mudguard coming in the Dark Marina Blue with tonal stitching to match. This same color scheme works its way over the eyelets, collar, heel overlay, and Nike Swoosh, providing a contrast to the white leather base on the midfoot. Your usual Air Jordan branding comes in the form of the embroidered Wings logo on the heel and coinciding Jumpman and 23 branding on the mesh tongue. Rounding out the entire look is a white midsole set to a Dark Marina Blue rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Dark Marina Blue W is set to release in April 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, this pair will retail for $100.
