Throughout 2022 we’ve seen Jordan Brand continue to release classic silhouettes and colorways that are ready for the golf course. While this isn’t the first time they’ve done this, it’s obvious that it has become a focus for the subsidiary of Nike as they even have a full capsule of clothing and sneakers, including the AJ 1 and AJ 12 in both high and low forms, in collaboration with Eastside Golf. For their latest golf offering, JB has dressed the Air Jordan 1 High Golf in a “Midnight Navy” colorway similar to the iconic CO.JP pair released back in 2020.
Unlike most other Golf variants, this colorway features patent leather overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel in contrast to its usual smooth leather finish. These overlays take on the titular midnight navy shade while the base layer comes in smooth white leather (sans the grey found on the collar). Tonal navy laces run up the tongue towards a Jumpman Golf branded label, sitting atop a white mesh tongue. Other branding details, like “Golf” printed on the insole, comes in this same shade while the Nike Swoosh gets a metallic silver finish. Similar to the aforementioned CO.JP pair, the Jordan Wings logo on the collar gets a bubble finish featuring clear plastic atop the label. Rounding out the design is the white AJ 1 midsole paired with a golf-ready midnight navy rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 High Golf Midnight Navy is set to release on December 10th, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the pair will retail for $160.
