Jordan Brand's foray into golf footwear continues to expand, with retro looks getting retooled to be ready for a round of 18 holes. Of all the retro Js getting the golf treatment, the Jordan 1 Low is a favorite for Jordan Brand. While we get plenty of standard AJ1 Low Golfs, we were just introduced to the Jordan 1 Golf Mule, first launched in the Bred colorway. Now, a new UNC pair has just emerged.
Inspired by the iconic UNC colorways from the past, this AJ1 Low Golf pays homage to Michael Jordan's alma mater with a color scheme deeply rooted in basketball history. The mule features luxurious blue suede on the mudguard, eyestay, and heel, paired with pristine white leather on the toe box, midfoot, and "tongue" area, matching the same material makeup as the Jordan 1 High UNC from 2021. A contrasting black Swoosh and sockliner add depth to the design, while the heel-less construction emphasizes the mule silhouette, allowing for easy slip-on functionality. Removing laces on the upper simplifies the design, making it a versatile choice for both the golf course and casual wear. Completing the look is a white midsole paired with a university blue rubber outsole, equipped with a spike-less design that ensures traction and stability on the green without sacrificing style.
The Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule UNC will release on March 1, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Golf retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
