Over the past four decades, we’ve seen countless iterations of the Air Jordan 1 release. From mid-top variants, to comfort-focused versions, all the way to pairs designed with easy-of-access in mind, none of them are as prepared to tackle the elements like the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate. The latest colorway to hit Jordan Brand’s outdoor-focused model, "Chutney," these are the perfect shoe to add to your winter rotation.
The first thing that you’ll probably notice about the AJ 1 Acclimate is the use of materials. While it’s still crafted from leather, everything is a little more beefed up for a gorpcore-inspired aesthetic. Working on top of a white base, black tones make their way to the toe box, lacing system, and collar that’s puffier than ever and given a dimpled texture. Chutney yellow hues hit the ankle, rubber tongue, and the top eyelet that comes in the form of a D-ring. This all rests on top of a Zoom Air cushioned midsole that has been slightly heightened for extra comfort and cushioning with every trek.
The Air Jordan 1 Acclimate Chutney W is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $150.
