Fresh off their first collaborative project with Reebok, All-Elite Wrestling (AEW) is again linking up with the sportswear brand for a special footwear release. AEW is honoring the late Brodie Lee, a pivotal figure in the wrestling promotion's early days, with a Reebok Classic Leather. Brodie Lee, who tragically passed away at the age of 41 in December 2020 from Fibrosis paru idiopatik, was known for leading the faction The Dark Order and had a distinguished career in wrestling, including notable time in WWE as part of the Wyatt Family. Previously, AEW’s The Young Bucks got their own Reebok Pump Omni II.
The AEW x Reebok Classic Leather Brodie Lee combines suede and leather on the upper, with most of the sneaker covered in sleek black hues. Purple accents on the heel and tongue tag add a vibrant contrast, symbolizing Brodie Lee's connection to The Dark Order. AEW branding appears on an added tag on the lateral collar, while the tongue tag showcases The Dark Order's logo. Inside, the tongue features a touching tribute to The Exalted One, a nickname for Brodie Lee. The midsole combines purple and grey tones, with a special nod to Brodie Lee near the heel, and the outsole matches the black and purple theme, completing the look.
The AEW x Reebok Classic Leather Brodie Lee will release on July 1, 2024, through Champs online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each shoe will go to Highmark Caring Place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
