Originally showcased on Twitter by Ye himself under the moniker “Turrellian,” the adidas Yeezy Knit RNR has become one of Yeezy’s most polarizing designs. So far, only two colorways have hit the market, both coming in a two-tone design of a primary color along the bottom half and an accenting color around the collar. Now the clog-like silhouette is getting a vibrant mixture of colors on the upcoming adidas Yeezy Knit RNR "Faded Azure."
Taking on a shape reminiscent of the Foam RNNR, the model is draped in a premium knit material across the upper. The laceless one-piece design alongside the midfoot tuck execution allows the upper to hug the contours of your foot, leading to an adaptable fit, and easy on and off wear. Faded all throughout the upper sans the vibrant blue stretchy collar is a mixture of shades of green along the front half and blue back towards the heel, far from the darker tone trends as of late and reminiscent of Ye’s design aesthetic during 2020. As previously mentioned, the collar takes on a bright blue shade with the sneakers sizing displayed in black text. Underfoot, a green herringbone traction rubber outsole with an adidas logo on the heel completes the futuristic look.
The adidas Yeezy Knit RNR Faded Azure is set to release on Yeezy Day 2022 through either adidas Confirmed or Yeezy Supply. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
