The PANDAemic has spread over to adidas Yeezy.
After what seemed like a quiet few months from adidas Yeezy over the summer, it has now turned into a flurry of Fall/Winter releases that have appeared over the last few weeks. New 350 V2 colorways like the “Jade Ash” and “MX Grey” or the appearance on an all-blue Yeezy Slide dubbed “Azure” have many excited for what the brand has to offer, even with Ye’s rocky relationship with the brand that is backing him. However, something no one saw coming was Yeezy being infected by the PANDAemic, though it appears to be the case with the upcoming adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT “Panda.”
Throwing out the tried and true construction we’ve all grown accustomed to on the 350 V2, the silhouette utilizes a 3D knit that is similar to the Knit BSKTBL model. Covering this is a mixture of black and white shades in a digi-camo-like pattern from the toebox up to the all-black collar portion. Complimenting this color combo is a set of white laces that weave through the knit eyestays that extend from the upper in a similar fashion to the Yeezy 450. Running back from the heel along the lower portion of the upper is a black/white pinstripe pattern that ends on the toe, turning into a solid hit of black. Rounding out the design is the white-on-white semi-translucent rubber midsole that encases the full-length Boost cushioning system.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT Panda is slated to release this Fall through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230. To stay up-to-date with all upcoming Yeezy drops, check out our Yeezy Release Calendar.
