The rocky relationship between Ye and adidas is still up in the air. After months of one-sided threats and demands, The Three Stripes officially announced the partnership is “under review,” though they’re still “co-managing” releases and have big plans for the rest of 2022. Just recently, we’ve gotten looks at upcoming pairs like the Yeezy Knit RNR “Faded Indigo,” Yeezy Slide “Azure,” and two Foam RNNRs (the “MX Blue” and “Flax”), though now a classic Yeezy colorway is set to restock once again. While we already received the adult size of the adidas Yeezy 500 earlier this year, The Three Stripes is set to drop the colorway in Kids and Infant sizing for the first time.
Just like the restock of the Yeezy 350 V2 "Static" in kids/infants sizing we saw on Yeezy Day, things remain the same in terms of construction and look for the Yeezy 500 Blush. An all-over monochromatic tan taking over the mesh, suede, and nubuck construction with the toebox getting a large suede panel that connects to the bottom of the rope laces. These laces come in a tonal tan shade, running past the figure-8-like overlay on the mesh tongue, and weave in and out of the oval-shaped suede eyestays. Working along the profile, various mesh panels pop between the organically shaped nubuck and suede overlays while a nubuck and rubber mudguard come stacked atop one another. Back on the heel, all of the previously aforementioned materials make an appearance in a Trefoil-like design while the entire sneaker gets finished off by an adiPRENE+ cushioned rubber midsole and outsole.
The adidas Yeezy 500 Blush in Kids and Infant sizing is set to release on October 13th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select retailers online and in-store for $130 (kids) and $100 respectively.
