The Ultraboost is, no doubt, one of the most influential sneakers from the past decade. Introduced back in 2015, while it was primarily made for running, it very quickly became every sneakerhead’s lifestyle shoe of choice, especially after Kanye West was spotted rocking a pair during his Billboard Music Awards performance that same year. Fast forward to today, and adidas is now ready to unleash the adidas Ultraboost DNA XXII.
Debuting in three clean colorways, namely “Cloud White,” “Core Black,” and “Grey Two,” each pair has been fully reworked from the ground up for extra comfort and cushioning with every step. Crafted from a breathable knit upper that’s made from at least 50% recycled content, this is just one of the many steps that the German giant is taking to end plastic waste. The TPU cage on the midfoot and heel counter around the back offer additional support, and the full-length Boost midsole underfoot has been revamped with a toothy rubber outsole that grips onto rugged paths and slippery surfaces with ease.
The adidas Ultra Boost DNA XXII Cloud White and Grey Two are available now, with the Core Black variant scheduled to release on September 17th, 2022. The entire collection will be available in men’s sizes for $190 each, and you’ll be able to get a pair at adidas and select online and in-store stockists worldwide.
