Retro sneakers have forever been held in high regard across the sneakerhead community, though others land higher on the totem pole compared to others. While old school adidas Basketball silhouettes may not have the same grasp in the sneaker scene compared to Jordan or Nike retros, silhouettes like the adidas Top Ten have held a solid following for decades. Adding some flair to the model, The Three Stripes is bringing patent leather to a “Black” and “Red” colorway of the Top Ten.
Taking on its standard build, the sneakers come covered in patent leather throughout its various overlays and underlays with the primary shade for each respective version making up most of the model. White accents do appear throughout, seen on the Three Stripes branding along the midfoot, the tongue/lace combo, and around the collar. Atop the tongue, you’ll find an “adidas Top Ten” branded logo that borrows from the primary shade while the sockliner nearby also borrow these colors. Underfoot sits a white rubber midsole paired with a rubber outsole that matches the main color of the upper.
The adidas Top Ten Patent Pack is set to release on January 15th, 2023 through adidas and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
