Nike may reign supreme in the performance basketball realm in modern times. However, adidas once had a good position near the top of this category. Silhouettes like the adidas FYW Intimidation and the series of signature sneakers from Kobe Bryant had many taking the court in Three Stripes. One model that fell to the wayside but recently made a comeback with the help of Beyonce (who no longer works with adidas), the adidas Top 10 2000, has just appeared in a clean “Off White Black Green” colorway.
Like original pairs from the late 90s, this adidas Top 10 2000 features a leather upper with nylon and mesh near the tongue and lacing system. Creamy off-white shades appear on the leather panels near the toe, midfoot, and heel, while large adidas-branded nylon straps come in an aqua-green shade. More adidas branding takes over the spine of the tongue with multiple adidas mountain logos featured in white with the tongue tag’s logo seen in green. This continues onto the collar with a similar design. However, the medial side gets “11” embroidered into the black mesh. Rounding out the design is the off-white-colored rubber midsole featuring EVA cushioning paired with a black and off-white rubber outsole.
The adidas Top 10 2000 Off White Black Green will be released on April 3rd, 2023, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
