adidas is channeling the charm of concha, a Mexican sweet bread roll renowned for its distinctive sea shell appearance, for a three-pack of Superstars. This confectionery-inspired "Concha Pack" is a colorful nod to Mexican culture and a playful take on the iconic silhouette.
Consisting of three sherpa-covered iterations, the Concha Pack echos different flavors of the beloved Mexican dish: vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. The plush sherpa upper is reminiscent of Concha's soft and fluffy texture, while the colorways mirror the vibrant hues of the dessert. The distinctive Three Stripes and the "shell toe" design of the Superstar silhouette are adorned with bronze embroidery, forgoing the usual rubber finish. Each colorway's tonal laces, midsole, and outsole maintain a cohesive look.
The adidas Superstar Concha Pack will release May 18 through adidas Mexico and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at 2,399 pesos (approx $137 USD).
