For 50 years now, the adidas Stan Smith has been spotted on the tennis court, on city streets, or on some of the most famous celebrities on the planet. While the humble model sees millions of pairs produced every year, special renditions elevate the silhouette with luxurious materials and a higher-quality construction. One pair that checks both these boxes, the adidas Stan Smith Lux, is set to release in four colorways, “White Green,” “White Black,” “White Burgundy,” and “Core Black.”
Across the four models, a high-quality buttery-soft leather takes over the upper while the rest of the sneaker features its typical construction and branding. On the three white-based colorways, the entire sneaker comes covered in some shade of white while branding details atop the tongue, medial midfoot, and the heel overlay itself comes in the secondary shade. Aside from the extra leather patch in the heel, your normal lace set and perforated Three Stripes branding remain from a standard pair of Stan Smiths while the entire design is rounded out by a tonal midsole and outsole combo.
The adidas Stan Smith Lux Pack is set to release on November 14th, 2022 through adidas UK while a global launch is set for December 15th. Releasing in men’s sizing, the three white-based pairs will retail for £110 GBP (approx. $125 USD) while the Core Black pair is retailing for £120 GBP (approx. $135 USD).
