The adidas Samba silhouette has long been celebrated for its timeless appeal and versatility, bridging the gap between sports heritage and contemporary street style. In 2023, this iconic sneaker saw a remarkable resurgence, with adidas introducing several innovative iterations that captivated both long-time enthusiasts and new fans alike. Among these fresh takes is the Sambae, an iteration that elevates the classic design with a platform sole and a more robust build, introduced to the market with great acclaim. Following the Valentine’s Day rendition, the model gets a denim makeover.
The adidas Sambae Denim features an all-denim upper that showcases a variety of shades to achieve a dynamic and textured appearance. The sneaker's toe, Three Stripes, and heel are adorned in darker blue denim, while the midfoot boasts a lighter blue washed denim, creating a striking contrast. White accents are skillfully applied to the denim tongue, eyestays, and heel, enhancing the sneaker's aesthetic appeal.
A unique addition to this model is a zipper on the heel tab. The sneaker's design is further enriched with tan stitching details that echo the construction of a classic pair of jeans. The sneaker includes a set of denim laces, allowing wearers to embrace the Canadian tuxedo fully if they choose. Anchoring the design is the platform gum sole unit, which elevates the silhouette literally and adds a timeless finish to the overall design.
The adidas Sambae Denim W will release on March 15, 2024, through adidas Singapore while a wider release through adidas US and select retailers online and in-store has not been announced.
