adidas' Samba silhouette has been subject to a variety of makeovers over its decades-long history, with the model becoming one of the most popular sneakers on the market in 2023. With this, adidas took it upon themselves to construct new variants, one getting an ultra-premium treatment, the adidas Samba Made in Italy. Following the first colorway, a Black White, a White rendition has emerged. Alongside this Italian-manufactured Samba, adidas has a Made in Germany version of the model with JJJJound in Black and White colorways.
Featuring a mixture of leather and suede on its upper, most of this Italian-crafted Samba comes in white with grey accents hitting the suede T-shaped overlay on the toe. Metallic gold foil for the Samba text aligns with the model's heritage, while a tan leather sockliner enhances the premium aesthetic. The Three Stripes logo on the midfoot comes in a tonal white, blending in with the rest of the leather upper. White laces match the tongue and contrast the black adidas branding stamped onto the leather. Underfoot sits a gum rubber sole unit.
The adidas Samba Made in Italy White will release in April 2024 via adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $350.
