Vibrant Shades Take Over The adidas Roverend Adventure Magic Earth
Published
Outdoor-ready silhouettes that put function over form have become a hot ticket item in the fashion industry as of late, just look at the success of Salomon in the last few years for a prime example. Looking to adidas, the brand’s Terrex line has offered consumers trail-friendly models, for years, however, adidas Originals recently introduced the Roverend Adventure model that gives you similar vibes while maintaining a more retro aesthetic. Seen in “Crystal White Aluminum” a few months prior, the model has now emerged in “Magic Earth.”
Multiple layers composed of suede, TPU, nylon, and mesh take over the upper with a contrasting color scheme of red hues and greys seen throughout. Grey suede wraps from the mudguard around to the midfoot and meets with a darker grey overlay, partially hidden by a salmon-shaded TPU overlay. Sitting in the center of this are nylon Three Stripes in a matching light grey shade while further branding details, like the “RVRND” text near the heel, come in black. On the base layer, you’ll find a burgundy mesh that works its way onto the tongue and matches the bungee lace set and collar. Underfoot sits a 3D-printed sole unit that comes inspired by topography, covered in white, brown, and pink. Rounding out the design is the 3D-printed outsole that comes lugged and ready for the outdoors.
The adidas Roverend Adventure Magic Earth is set to release on December 9th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
