The ultimate tribute to NYC's basketball scene.
From Harlem's Rucker Park to the Knicks, throughout history, New York City has always played a major role in the basketball scene. As a love letter to this, adidas has taken the wraps off the adidas Pinstripe Pack "NY." Taking on two of the German sportswear giant's most iconic hardcourt models, both of which were introduced in 1986, if you're a fan of b-ball and the Big Apple, this collection was made with you in mind.
Comprising of the classic Rivalry Low 86 as well as the recently-revived Attitude, both sneakers are painted in a blue, orange, and white color combinations that seems to nod to the aforementioned New York Knicks. The former boasts a corduroy construction with soft suede detailing across the lacing system and toe area, while the latter opts for a traditional leather and mesh design, complete with fuzzy sherpa detailing across the lateral and medial sidewalls. Underfoot, both sneakers sit on top of the same rubber midsole unit that has been engineered to dominate both on and off the court. To round it all off, "NY" branding adorns the tongue tags on each shoe, finalizing the designs.
The adidas Pinstripe Pack NY is set to release in 2023 in men's sizes. Expected to be available at adidas, the CONFIRMED app, and select retailers globally, a retail price has yet TBA.
