First introduced in 1984, and often spotted on a young MJ on the college court, the adidas Fourm Low had a slight resurgence in 2021 that has continued in 2022. Collabs with the likes of Limited Etd or more famously with Bad Bunny have aided its popularity, so why not switch things up even further? That's where the upcoming adidas Forum Low "Workboot" steps in, a redesign of the classic leather silhouette into a durable, work-ready sneaker.
Taking on a burgundy hue across the entire upper, nubuck and canvas materials are present on the overlays and underlays respectively. Your usual Forum details are present with the perforated toebox, Three Stripes and adidas branding near the midfoot, and the lockdown strap atop the tongue. Though the eyestays come in a similar fashion to your average workboot with rope laces in a two-tone red and yellow weaving in and out of the brass punchouts. Underfoot, the gum midsole features exposed Dellinger webbing on the medial side and gets paired with a matching rubber outsole.
The adidas Forum Low Workboot W is slated to release in 2022 through adidas and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
