Since Donovan Mitchell's D.O.N. Issue 5 debuted in mid-October, adidas has shown its commitment to the NBA All-Star by announcing numerous new colorways. The latest D.O.N. Issue 5 comes in a combination of Core Black and Light Blue.
The mid-cut silhouette's upper features breathable light blue mesh accompanied by a core black synthetic material. Three Stripes cut across the black backdrop, a nod to the iconic adidas branding. Adding in some additional color, hints of orange cover the eyestays and a portion of the sneaker's sculpted midsole. But the D.O.N. Issue 5 isn’t just about aesthetics. Designed to standup to the fiercest competition, the D.O.N. 5 incorporates adidas' ultra-lightweight Lightstrike cushioned midsole and elevated traction patterned insole. As with all D.O.N. Issue 5's the entire sneaker is made from a series of recycled materials, it proudly boasts at least 50% recycled content.
The adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 Core Black Light Blue will release on November 15th, 2023, for $120 via adidas and select retailers. To stay updated on all the latest D.O.N. Issue 5 releases and news, download the Sole Retriever app!
