adidas has seen renewed success and attention for its basketball lineup as the brand has returned to pushing the boundaries of design that once defined the label in the '90s and 2000s. During that time frame, adidas produced a series of signature sneakers for Kobe Bryant that have since been transitioned into their Crazy lineup, inspiring a new generation of models. Starting this new era of Crazy sneakers was the Crazy IIInfinity, which has now appeared in a new Preloved Ink colorway.
Featuring a synthetic and mesh upper, the adidas Crazy IIInfinity Preloved Ink is coated in a rich preloved ink shade on the toecap and midfoot panel. The Three Stripes logos are subtly present on the toe through debossed lines alongside an adidas logo. At the same time, the midfoot continues the debossed look, mimicking the design elements from the iconic adidas Crazy 1. Cream shades take over the lace shroud, zipper, mesh tongue, collar, and sockliner, providing a sophisticated contrast to the dark ink base. More cream is located on the heel, completing the look with a light blue rubber outsole.
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Preloved Ink is set to release in August 2024 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
