The past few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind for adidas. After cutting ties with Kanye West and announcing that it'll continue to sell his sneakers anyway, the German sportswear giant has also been working hard on its own Yeezy-alternatives, including the adidas Climacool OG Mule "Black." Keeping up with the clog trend that's all the rage these days, this silhouette first leaked earlier this year, and now, it looks like a release date could be announced any day now.
Dropping as part of the iconic Climacool line, this model places an emphasis on ventilation and versatility. Featuring an EVA foam construction that's both lightweight and comfortable, it's dipped in an all-black color scheme that will keep your fits looking stealthy. A neoprene bootie features within for additional support, just like the adiFOM Q, and this all sits on top of a chunky midsole. To round it all off, adidas' classic logo can be found on the tongue, while the heel is decorated with three stripes, finalizing the one-of-a-kind design.
Not much else is known about the adidas Climacool OG Mule Triple Black at this moment in time, but it's expected to release in 2022 or 2023 in men's sizes. Set to launch via adidas and select retailers worldwide, a retail price has yet TBA.
