As the fashion zeitgeist continues to demand Y2K designs, adidas has found an answer in the Campus 00s. Taking the beloved silhouette initially released over 40 years ago, the sneaker is now beefed up like a skate shoe from the early oughts. For its latest variation of the model, adidas reminds us to “Find Joy” in everyday life.
The forthcoming adidas Campus 00s sports an all-over black suede upper, contrasted by white and blue details and graphics that embody the joyous theme. The Three Stripes come in a white serrated leather, which matches the Campus branding. White laces add continuity to the scheme and sit beneath the adidas Trefoil logo on the left shoe and the word "FIND" on the right. The word "JOY" emerges along the lateral heel, with the “O” taking the form of a beach ball. The same beach ball motif appears on the left sneaker's white leather heel tab, while the right heel tab, crafted in blue leather, is adorned with the number 275. The design culminates with a clean all-white midsole and outsole.
The adidas Campus 00s Find Joy will release June 9 in Japan, with a wider release to follow this year through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. The sneaker will be available in men’s sizing, with the retail price yet to be announced.
